It was about 7:00 pm on August 4, 2008. The sun was almost down, I had been calling for about 30 mins.

I was about to give up, and then i heard the beast of all coyotes call back to me. I got my AR-15 at the ready. I gave him one long howl and about a min. later i seen the beat come out of the creek bed about 50 yards from me. I was in the woods line over looking a hay field. Took my AR off safety, looked though my Redfield scope.

then he started to run, so i barked at him, he stopped, looked at me, and I pulled the trigger. Down the Beast coyote went. I jump for joy. My first time coyote hunting and i get a trophy coyote.

The weight of the coyote was almost 70 lbs, and was 5 feet 2 in. long.
